100g Gram flour
1 small onion
1 HDM Spice Shop
Pakora
mix (14g)
100 ml of water
1-2 litres oil (for deep frying)
Method
Put
oil on to medium heat. Remove chip basket, or use non stick wok.
Sieve
gram flour & Slice onion
Mix
all ingredients together
Using a spoon scoop up batter and place in
oil & deep fry for up to 5
minutes until golden brown.
Keep
turning the Pakoras for even cooking. Drain excess oil on plate
with kitchen paper.

Alternatives:
Add 1” of Fresh Root Ginger (Grate or finely
chop)
Add 2-3 cloves of (Garlic Grate or finely
chop)
Add 2 Fresh green chillies (Cut off stalk and
finely chop)
AND/ OR
Add a small handful of other vegetables
(cubed or sliced) such as aubergine, potato, cauliflower etc.
Make one pakora and if the spice is not
enough, add extra 5g of Pakora mix
